I'm getting ready to paint my 383 stroker and I need some help on what paints I should use.?

I want to paint my engine a candy purple, slick metallic lookin color with pearl white accents here and there. What type of paint do I need to use, urethane, acrylic etc. Also the paint needs to withstand gasoline, grease, etc. I want the purple to look as good as possible while still being able to withstand engine heat and gasoline/solvents.
