Should I install a new crate383 stroker engine from blueprint engines or should i get a kit?

The one im looking at is $3 grand, from summit auto parts. I have a chevy cheyenne 1990 ck 1500 w/t I heard that kits are alot cheeper and pretty much the same. I would like to save money obviously. This is just for fun, its not like im racin for my livelyhood, lol. anyway, should i just go with the kit, and if so how much would someone cost to do all the labor? thanks truck bros
