How hard to stroke a 351w to 393ci?

I have a 74 montego mx brougham that i am doing a light resto on, im 18 and would like to give the car abit more power, i have found a suitable stroker kit but i want to know, can you stroke the engine in your own backyard or in other words, is it a difficult job, i already know a fair bit and ino that the montego brougham 4 door is not a muscle car but it looks aswome with the cragar rims and gans like stink with a 4160 carb under the hood, but back to the question, how hard is it to stroke the motor your self? if you have the kit ready at your fingertips?
