350 to 383 stroker without boring?

I've been doing allot of reading and price checking on 383'S... Most expencive part seems to be getting the engine bored .40 over, so I'm wondering if its possible to still get a 383 without boring, if not, what would happen if I installed the 383 crank with the stock rods and pistons? Or if you have any other Ideas that would be great!
