Chevelle or Monte Carlo ?

I'm fixing to buy a car off of this one guy. I originally had my eyes on his automatic 1972 chevelle with a 350, but his 1982 Monte Carlo with a 383 stroker engine seems pretty tempting. The Monte Carlo (priced at 5,500) has far less things to fix, mainly interior work. While the chevelle (priced at 3,500) needs far more cosmetic work. I need your most honest opinions on witch one to purchase, it would also help my indecisive dilemma. Thank you all
